Today, Monday 23rd November, Superdrug’s Lakeside store hosted celebrations
to mark a major milestone in the AS Watson Group’s history –
reaching 100,000,000 members in loyalty schemes around the world.
AS Watson Group is the world’s largest international health and beauty retailer with more than 12,000 stores in 24 markets. Every week over 28 million customers visit one of the company’s 13 retail brands.
The Group has reached this milestone with loyalty programmes in Superdrug, The Perfume Shop and Savers in the UK, and across the world Watsons, Kruidvat, ICI Paris XL, Rossmann, Trekpleister, Drogas, Spektr, PARKnSHOP, Fortress and Watson’s Wine.

Looking at data the Group identified the day that the milestone would be
reach and estimated that the milestone would be reached in the UK on 23rd
November and AS Watson Group Managing Director, Dominic Lai travelled to
the UK to witness the celebrations.
Janice Ward of Chatham registered for her Superdrug Health & BeautyCard on the day, unaware that her signing up the scheme would trigger a celebration which included music, balloons confetti and being presented with a completely unique gold loyalty card, complete with 10,000 points ready to spend in store.
